About this game

Explore and reshape a distant world! Astroneer is set in the 25th century Age of Intergalactic Discovery, in which astronomers explore the frontiers of outer space, risking their lives in extreme environments to uncover rare discoveries, and unlock the mysteries of the universe.

In this space sandbox adventure, players can work together to build custom bases above or below ground, build vehicles to explore the vast solar system, and utilize the terrain to create anything they can imagine. Player creativity and ingenuity are the keys to successful development in exciting planetary adventures! On Astroneer you can:

Reshape the ground beneath your feet as if it were made of clay.

In Astroneer, players use their deformation tools to dig, collect, shape, and build whatever they want. Use this ability to dig into the center of a planet, build a climb to the sky, or create megaliths using just the terrain!

Survive and explore carefully crafted planets that can be completely deflected and traversed.

Our vast solar system includes 7 amazing planets that players can traverse and explore every inch, from the entire surface of the sphere, through the layers of precipitous caverns, to the hidden mysterious core. Each of these planets has unique and challenging surface and cave biomes that present many challenges for players on their journey.

Glue components and objects together to build bases and vehicles.

All items that Astroneers create and discover in the world can be captured and linked together to create unique creations for any situation. Customize and decorate your base, vehicles and Astroneers.

Play with friends in 4-player online drop-in/drop-out co-op.

Astroneer is better with friends. Team up with other players and work together to create massive industrial facilities or create exciting games in a vast creative sandbox.

Explore and discover the mysteries of the solar system.

Once Astrologers are ready, they can try to understand and possibly harness the power behind the mysterious structures found in the world.

Astroneer started out as an Early Access title on Steam and wouldn’t be here today without your support, feedback, and ideas over the years.
