About this game

City: Skyline is a modern take on the classic city simulator. The game introduces new gameplay elements to embody the thrills and difficulties of creating and maintaining a real city while extending some of the established city building experiences. You are only limited by your imagination, so take control and reach for the sky!

Multi-tiered and challenging simulation

Building your city from scratch is easy to learn, but hard to master. As the mayor of your city, you will be faced with balancing essential needs such as education, utilities, police, fire, health care and many more with the real city economic system. Your townspeople respond dynamically, with gravity and realistic atmosphere to many game scenarios.

Extensive local traffic simulation

Colossal Order’s rich experience in developing the Cities in Motion series is fully utilized in a well-crafted and complete local traffic simulation.

District and Policy

Not just the admin from the town hall. Designating a part of the city as a district results in the implementation of policies that make you the Mayor of your own city.

Use day and night cycle

Cities change at the time of day and affect residents’ schedules. Traffic was noticeably slower at night and some of the zoned areas didn’t work well. Cities: Skylines puts you in control of managing various aspects of the day and night cycle.

Extended modification support

Build or upgrade existing maps and structures. You can then import your creations into the game, share them, and download other city builder works in the Steam workshop.
