Welcome to Meow Meow Furrington, the cat capital, home to the world’s largest ball of yarn… and a den of evil. You are Cuddles Nutterbutter, a cat private investigator and owner of two normal-sized paws, the doctor said.

After agreeing to take a last-minute case for the Sheriff, you and your lucky assistant will investigate a murder that threatens the balance between two families. The city’s most powerful criminals: Montameeuws and Catulets.

Cuddles needs to use every skill he learns – as well as his paws which are certainly no smaller than average – to poke, lick, and talk to the heart of the mystery… before some very dangerous cats decide to do it. take matters to their own feet. Which, to clarify, is perfectly regular in size.

Simple, Fun

Silvernode Studios is a two-person team, and Nine Noir Lives is our love letter adventure game. We’ve been playing it for decades and we love it – so we made a set. Combining our favorite elements from all of them before, we hope to combine them into something very entertaining.

While we draw film noir for story inspiration, we lean more towards the “comedy” side of comedy. Expect some serious themes to be taken seriously – but we don’t want to burden the entire game under the weight of unrelenting steadfastness. We feel that is enough in the world.

Fun is priority and we aim to be funny first, with comedies inspired by characters like Taika Waititi. We tried to create a sense of humor that anyone can appreciate, and the writing won’t force you to mute your speakers when playing in public.
